לחפש לפי נושאים ואוספים מומלצים לחפש לפי שם מחבר/ת או כותר להקליק על כותר על מנת לראות פרטים נוספים, דוגמה לקריאה או לשאול את הספר. אייקון הספר או האוזניות מדגימים באיזה סוג ספר מדובר – אלקטרוני לקריאה או קולי להאזנה. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll begin at the Home page of the collection, where you can immediately begin to browse subjects and featured collections, search for a title or author, or click on a title to see more details, sample, or borrow. The book and headphone icons on the cover of the title let you know if it’s an eBook or audiobook. Jacket icons also provide information about each title, including availability, a black icon means it’s available to borrow and a greyed-out icon means it’s unavailable and you’ll need to place a hold, and Wish List status. Hover over the jacket to sample or borrow the title, add it to your Wish List or view the title details.

Sample, borrow, or place a hold on a title from this page, too. If you decide to borrow the title, you can either continue browsing or navigate to your Checkouts to read or listen to the title.

השאלות – מדף הספרים ניתן לגשת למדף הספרים הפרטי של כל קורא/ת בו ניתן להוריד כותרים לאפליקציה או לקרוא/להאזין באופן מיידי דרך הדפדפן. Navigate to your Checkouts page to download titles you’ve borrowed to the mobile app or instantly read or listen to them in your browser. 7 אפליקציה לנייד - libby האפליקציה חדשה של אוברדרייב – libby היא קלה לשימושית וידידותית, דרכה ניתן לקרוא/להאזין לכל הספרים. The first option to read or listen to a title is to use OverDrive’s mobile app to download EPUB eBooks and MP3 audiobooks to your personal device and read or listen to them on the go. The app is free from popular app marketplaces and includes a user-friendly eBook reader and audiobook player with a variety of customizable settings for each to get the most out of your experience. Please note: if you download a title the app, you can return it early, but will need to do so from the app. (Note: The mobile app does not have a Hebrew-translated interface.) © OverDrive, Inc. 8 OverDrive Read ניתן לקרוא גם ישירות מן האתר במחשב. אין צורך להתקין כל תוכנה או אפליקציה לצורך כך, והמידע מסונכרן בין המכשירים השונים. ניתן כמובן להתאים את הגדרות הקריאה לנוחותכם. The next two options are to read or listen instantly in your web browser with OverDrive’s browser-based formats. The first, OverDrive Read, is the simplest way to get started and is ideal for new users or for users who prefer to read on a computer. There are no apps or software to install, no files to download, and no authorization needed. Simply click or tap on the Read (in your browser) option, and start reading in your web browser, using navigation controls you’d find on any dedicated eReader, such as bookmarking, note-taking, and an interactive dictionary. This browser-based format provides a seamless reading experience on any device with a modern web browser. You can sync your progress across devices – read on your laptop, then pick up again on your tablet. See book, read book – it’s that simple. (Note: OverDrive Read does not have a Hebrew-translated interface.) © OverDrive, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

9 חשוב: יש צורך בחיבור אינטרנט.
OverDrive Listen ניתן גם להאזין ישירות מן האתר. בדיוק כמו ב-OverDrive Read אין צורך להוריד כל תוכנה או אפליקציה לצורך כך. גם כאן קיים סנכרון בין מכשירים שונים. ניתן להתאים את הגדרות השמע לנוחותכם. חשוב: יש צורך בחיבור אינטרנט. The next browser-based option is called OverDrive Listen and is just as easy to use as OverDrive Read. Simply click or tap on the Listen (in your browser) option, and start listening in your web browser, using navigation controls you’d find on any dedicated audiobook player; you can even bookmark, highlight, and take notes. You can also sync your position, but OverDrive Listen requires an internet connection. If you only use OverDrive Read or Listen from your Checkouts page and don’t download the titles to app, you’ll be able to return them early from the Checkouts page as well.
